Alternative Route 1 (Caspian Sea Route): Iranian-licensed TIR trucks loaded at Khorgos/Alashankou, transiting through Kazakhstan, Caspian Sea ferry, Caucasus, Turkey into Iran, 16-19 days. Used when Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan transit is congested.
